Business visa

• An invitation from the Luxembourg business partner containing the following information:
  - Inviting company
  - Invited person: applicant's full name, address and passport number
  - Purpose of visit
  - Destination
  - Duration of visit
  - Type of visa requested (single-entry, multiple entry, duration)
  - The invitation must be signed by the inviting party. The name and function of the person signing must be indicated.
• Valid passport with at least three months validity remaining beyond the date of expiry of the visa and space to insert a visa
• Schengen visa application form 1 copy. Filled out in English, French or German (Latin letters).
• Recent passport photo  in line with ICAO guidelines
• Proof of sufficient means of subsistence for the duration of the intended stay in the Schengen area and return to the Russian Federation
• Certificate by the employer (Spravka ) indicating position held and duration of employment.
• Travel insurance
• Return flight ticket
• Fee: 35 euros (payment must be made cash in euros when submitting the application form)

If necessary, the applicant may be requested to provide additional documentation.

In accordance with the agreement between the European Union and the Russian Federation on visa facilitation, business people who travel frequently to Schengen countries are granted favorable visa arrangements. Therefore business people who frequently visit a company based in Luxembourg have the possibility to obtain a visa for a longer period, according to the following conditions:

1. If the applicant has obtained a Schengen visa during the previous year, s/he can apply for a 1-year multiple entry visa.
2. If the applicant has obtained a 1-year multiple entry Schengen visa during the previous year, s/he can apply for a 2-5 year multiple entry visa, when the reasons for requesting a multiple-entry visa are still valid.
